RAD READING-April

This month I read a book called way of the warrior kid III by Jocko Willink. This book is about a kid named Marc and Marc has two friends named Nathan and Kenny. Nathan, Kenny and Marc all work for Marc’s meticulous mowing and go to jujitsu together. All three of them became friends through school. Marc works out with his uncle which is a navy seal and Marc wants to soon become one too. Marc thinks he is the strongest person at his school then the new classmate comes named Danny. Danny is better at Marc at almost everything. Danny always smiles and always has a positive attitude. So he asked if he could be his friends and they hang out then Marc asked is he wanted to work at his mowing company then he says no because I have to be with my brother. Then Marc wonder why so he asked if he can go to his house and when they get he noticed that he brother has a learning disorder and he has to play with him so he is not lonely.then he says sorry for being mean to him and saying mean things about him. I like this book because it teaches you to treat others the way you want to be treated. A quote to explain this is “If he doesn’t want to hang out with us it might mean that he is lazy.” This means that you should treat other the way you want to be treated because he had to play with his brother. My favorite character is uncle Jake because he is like a teacher to teach Marc to be a better person a quote to prove this is “Remember to keep your ego in check. Don’t judge people. Keep digging deep, pushing yourself, and using the power of your will to keep going. Most of all, stay on The Path of being a Warrior Kid, okay.” My favorite quote is “And the more you build your will by doing hard things, the stronger your will becomes. If you have a strong will almost nothing can stop you.” I like this quote because it motivates you that the more you try the better you do.
